Why this option

Ordered alongside the fenders on purpose. Carbon weave and clear coat vary between production runs, so buying both panels from one maker in one run is the only reliable way to get a front-to-rear match on a truck where the carbon is left exposed instead of painted over.

Trade-offs

Bedside installation is genuinely invasive — factory bed skins are spot-welded on and have to be cut off, and the wheel-well supports need re-fabricating or splicing. This is the hardest job on the exterior list.
